Supposedly if there was a V2 on the back, it could take a 4gb MicroSD, to my disappointment this was not so for my mp3. I love this player. So, after buying two 4gb MicroSD cards, I now have to order a 2gb MicroSD. It's my first MP3. My only disappointment there is not enough storage space. Luckily, I found someone to buy the two 4gbs. I wish I would have bought a larger gb MP3 player.
I love my mp3 player. I put pictures on it, I listen to music and I even record my own voice to remind my self of little things. This is a wonderful product to buy.
Runs Great and sounds great. FM radio, 1gb space and a microSD slot for $12.99. Can't beat that. Received on Feb 2 and have been using it everyday (for ~25 minutes/day), with zero problems and the battery only half drained. Refurb is the way to go.
She likes that she can also record things and listen to the radio. I love iPods but my budget did not allow for an ipod nano or anything higher and I knew she needed something with a screen so a shuffle just wouldn't do. When my mom told me she wanted an mp3 player for Christmas I did a lot of research because she is not very technically inclined. I've seen other sansas and I don't understand why they aren't more popular. I chose this sansa because it was inexpensive, had a nice screen, not too many buttons and the size could be expanded with a microSD card. I taught Mom to use it as a jumpdrive to load music on because they only have Windows Media Player and it's rather complicated. Like I said, I love iPod, but Sandisk has definitely won me over with the Sansa as well. I highly recommend this if you want more for less than you get with an ipod (there's one that my friend has that's the same size as a shuffle but has a screen and everything) and want something that's easy to use.
It started locking up during playback and the only way to unlock it was to remove the battery. I had trouble with this from the start: had trouble loading songs, computer wouldn't recognize it, etc. Then did a driver update and it worked fairly well.for about a month. Pretty soon it locked up from just turning it on. Can't say I'd recommend this one.
